How compensation affects our site

• It does not affect our scores or rankings. Every product is scored on our published methodology, and rankings follow those scores. A higher commission never moves a product up.
• It can affect which products we are able to link to. Some products on our site may have links that pay us and some may not. We review products whether or not we have a commercial relationship with the bank.
• Paid placements are always labeled. If we show a sponsored or featured placement, it will be clearly marked and kept separate from our ranked lists.

What we cover

We do not review every financial product or company on the market. Our comparisons include the products we have researched and scored.
